" Newspaper clipping on print verso: "Rep. Denmark Groover hung by arm and leg 20 years ago to stop the chamber clock, which ended up failing. Mon Feb 21, 1983." Newspaper clipping on print verso: "During a 1964 speech on reapportionment, Rep. Denmanrk Grover (D-Macon) nearly fell over the state House railing trying to adjust the hands of the clock to keep it from reaching the mandatory hour of adjournment. The Clock fell, March 8, 1992."
