- Print verso inscribed:"Manning Dept Store Main St. Alpharetta." Photo stamped:June 30 1983. Signs on either side of the cabin front door for J.K. Orr Shoe Company. From the Alpharetta Historical Society: "Howell Manning (hands in pocket) owned this store on North Main Street. Postman Dodge Teasley leans on the post. George Upshaw is sitting on the porch floor to Mr. Teasley's left." The store is also called the Manning Brothers Dry Goods Store.
