Described as like a roll of carpet, it will be hooked to a crane, pulled up, and rolled out. They'll start raising it about 11 a.m., rolling it out by 2 p.m. PHOTOGRAPHER: Johnny Crawford. CAPTION: This is an aerial view of the Georgia Dome as workers put out a patch of the dome." Newspaper clipping: "Workers begin stretching the 8.8 acre translucent roof, made of Teflon-coated fiber-glass, over the Georgia Dome today.
