- Newspaper assignment sheet attached to print verso identifies photographer Dwight Ross: "The top of one of the two incinerator towers hits the ground after being demolished by Controlled Demolition, Inc., world- rknown for precision implosions. The site, adjacent to the Omni Col., is being razed for construction of a 1,000-car parking deck." Newspaper caption: "Smokestacks tumble. An explosive charge (above) signals the fall of two smokestacks Thursday as the city's old garbage incinerator. The towers were razed to make way for a 1,000-space parking garage at the World Congress Center." Date-stamped "Fri May 29 1987 J."
