- Newspaper caption attached to print verso: "Piedmont 'Funnel' widened. A joyous sight for Piedmont Avenue motorists is this new bridge near the intersection of Piedmont and Monroe Drive, NE. Note there is traffic traveling over the new bridge. The new bridge is at least twice as wide as the old one. The temporary traffic bridge, not pictured, but to the left, could handle only two lanes of traffic. The new bridge speeds Piedmont traffic. Those traveling this section may get home earlier in the future." Verso stamped "Billy Downs" and "Jul 14 1964 Journal."
