- Typed description (caption draft) accompanies print: "James C. Bond [i.e. Bonds], Knoxville (Tenn.) truck driver, was the first of the Terminal Hotel victims to be identified. He died in an ambulance of injuries suffered when he leaped out of a window to escape the flames. Bonds, 31, lived at 422 Minnesota Ave., Knoxville, according to his chauffeur's license found in his pocket." Stamped "Return to May 17 1938 Fraysur."
