- Print envelope: "Capital Punishment, Georgia Death Row." Warren McCleskey, along with three others, attempted to burglarize the Dixie Furniture Store in Marietta, Georgia, on May 13, 1978. One of the officers who showed up on the scene, Frank Schlatt, was shot to death. Warren McCleskey was ultimately executed for the crime on September 26th, 1991 at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification State Prison
