- Newspaper assignment sheet attached to print verso identifies photographer John Spink: "Runner, Brad Jones a resident of the Candler Park area jogs by the murder scene at the park on his daily run. He says he's concerned for his wife and is a little intimidated by the recent events. He concluded all we can do is be careful." Newspaper caption: "Anger about crime runs rampant in Candler Park area. A jogger runs through Candler Park, past the site where a 21-year-old cashier at a health food store was discovered slain Thursday. Residents of the area, a mix of yuppies, hippies and blue-collar families, say the death is a brutal example of the area's crime increase. Police say their fears are exaggerated.
