For story on Aug. 11 runoff with incumbent Hildred Shumake (file art). Slotin is available at the MLK-Ashby intersection any time from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday. " Newspaper caption: "Runoff challenger Ron Slotin, 29, thinks the redrawn 39th is 'most culturally and economically diverse district, probably in the nation.'
