- Inscribed on print verso: "Tiger x4, Thurs Jul, Final Home." Newspaper clipping: "Hold That Tiger, Mayor Ivan Allen and Linda Price admire a new trophy on the wall of a City Hall office—the mounted skin of Tony Tiger. Tony, the father of Little Ivan—an inhabitant of Grant Park Zoo—died in July 1966, from a heart attack. Tony was considered one of the biggest male tigers in the United States before he died, weighing 700 pounds. 'So many people enjoyed him at the zoo, and now they can see him here,' the mayor said. It took more than a year to mount Tony." Date-stamped: "OCT 19 1967."
