Began marching from Macon towards Forsyth at 9 a.m. Marching on U.S. 41 to Monroe County Courthouse, where rally is planned on arrival ... Caption: Members of the National Pilgrimage for Abolition of the Death Penalty are seen marching on U.S. Highway 41. At this point they are four miles south of Forsyth, Ga., headed towards the city." Marchers carry a large banner that reads, "Lighting the torch of conscience -- National Pilgrimage for Abolition."
