- Newspaper assignment sheet attached to print verso identifies photographer Kimberly Smith: "Atlanta Lesbian and Gay Pride Parade... Richard Braddock, foreground, carrying the US flag, carried the flag down 10th Street Sunday afternoon as he participated in the Atlanta Lesbian and Gay Pride Parade with a group from the 'Queer Nation.' Marchers started the parade at the Atlanta Civic Center and proceeded up Peachtree Street and then down 10th Street into Piedmont Park where they held a rally." Newspaper caption: "Carrying a flag in the Lesbian and Gay Pride parade Sunday, Richard Braddock marches with other members of Queer Nation." Date-stamped "Mon Jun 24 1991 J/C." Marchers are carrying signs that read "Closets are for clothes, not for people's souls," and "Yes! to civil rights. No! to Cracker Barrel." Some marchers wear Queer Nation Atlanta" shirts.
