- Typed on print verso: "Forsyth bldg under construction about 1910, NW corner Forsyth and Luckie, adjoining present Ansley hotel. Originally theater, now garage. Horse and buggy, in far background at intersection of Luckie and Fairlie. Man at far right, in felt hat and looking down, is foreman, John W. Ewing, Sr., who died in 1919. Submitted by his son, John W. Ewing, Jr., 1708 Evans Dr. SW, Atlanta." Inscription in negative: "W.L. Stevens Co. Contractors, Apl 5th '09."
