- Print verso inscribed: "Miss Marion H. Rogers, 56 Clay St., NE, Atlanta. 'Snapshot I took over 40 years ago from window in Grant Bldg, 4th floor, overlooking Walton St., in office of Singer Sewing Machine Co. before post office and Healey Bldg were built. On left is Forsyth Bldg. on right Piedmont Hotel and Candler Bldg beyond." Healey Building built between 1913 and 1914. The Candler Building was opened in 1909. The Forsyth Building was opened in 1910. The old Post Office opened in 1911. If the photographer's notes are correct, this snapshot would have been made in 1910, while the site of the Post Office was being excavated.
