Eleanor Cunningham is shown at work in the Control Tower at Eglin Field, Fla. A graduate of Cornell University in 1936, Cpl. Cunningham realized the need for women to serve in the armed forces, and enlisted in the WAC in May 1943. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin B. Cunningham of 380 Kilbourne, Road, Rochester, N.Y."
