Newspaper caption: "The Academy Theatre plans to renovate the old Cine Showcase into a 400-seat mainstage theater, a 100-seat lab theater, plus office, classroom and rehearsal space." Date-stamped "Fri Jul 10 1981 C." The building signs are for "Roma Lounge, Nitery club," "Cinema, Cine Showcase," and a florest shop. The theater was not built on Peachtree Street.
