- Two newspaper captions attached to verso of print: "But Look at Him Now. Camp Blanding, Fla., July 24.-- Atlanta knows him as Elbert P. Tuttle, attorney, who sits behind a very executive looking desk and pores over ponderous tomes of law. But look at him now -- in khaki. To the boys of the 179th Field Artillery he's Lieutenant Colonel Tuttle, and he's conducting a series of lectures now for the Seventy-fourth Artillery Brigade, after his graduation from Fort Sill's artillery school." and "In 1940s: Judge Tuttle's law career was interrupted by the war, during which he commanded an artillery battalion in the Pacific." The first caption is dated "Jul 24 1941," and the second "Wed May 5 1993 J - C." Verso inscribed "Photo by Sydney L. Greenberg."
