Newspaper clipping: "A life-size statue of Herman Talmadge, Georgia's former governor and seator, is prepared for a ceremony scheduled for today at the state Capitol. John Ward( right), who did the casting, gets some help attaching the statue to its base. Mr. Talmadge said he is honored that state officials 'would think that I'm worthy of memory.'
