- Photographic print; assignment sheet attached to verso of print identifies photographer (Vincent Pambi) and caption information: "Pink Slip Rally: The rally Thursday morning at the Sloppy Floyd building [i.e. James H. “Sloppy” Floyd Building] included supporters from several rural counties, notably Taylor County. The women pictured here are both Taylor County residents and activists (one or the other), who were among the crowd of perhaps a hundred, protesting in support of activists who questioned the competence of leaders of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, among other things." Signs the protesters carry read "What is in that 18 wheel truck in front of you," Talbotton says 'No!' to toxic dump," "Just gov. Not God," "Just say no to toxic waste," and "Save Taylor Co."
