- Photographic print; newspaper caption attached to verso of print: "Trying Again This Year. Rains and gusty winds didn't stop Mrs. Ruth Weeks or Mrs. A.C. Henry Friday as they spent four hours picketing the capitol building, asking for improvements in Georgia's corrections system. Mrs. Weeks carried six signs, Mrs. Henry three. Other women who picketed the capitol at this time last year didn't show up--They were home with flu. Said weary women: 'We'll be here with more ladies next week'. (Staff photo--Charles Pugh)." Caption stamped "Feb 10 1962 Constitution." Three of the signs they are carrying read "Out with the old system, in with the new one!" "A Bible in every cell," and "We demand proper supervision and rehabilitation programs used by all prison officials."
