- Newspaper assignment sheet attached to print verso identifies photographer Dwight Ross, Jr.: "This is H.L. 'Bubba' Ratcliffe -cq-, an 80 year-old tennis player. He is standing in front of a chest containing some of his trophies which are not suited to hanging on the wall. Obviously in one photo he has his racquet. In the other photo he holds a couple of trophies or awards or metals from the National Indoor Championship doubles in Boise, Idaho, and from the National Hardcourt Championship (doubles) in Santa Barbara California." There is only one photo in the print envelope.
