The shop has a wire grate around the cashier's desk, Christmas and New-Year's decorations, various signs, and merchandise. Newspaper caption attached to verso of print: "'The Day After Christmas They're Broke and Pawning Their Own Presents,' Says Jerry Mandel." Caption stamped "Dec 22 1978." Verso stamped "Bill Mahan." Taped to verso is an internal AJC scan request (not dated) with text: "Pawn shop owner Jerry Mandel would lend money on the oddest items and had third-generation customers."
