- Newspaper assignment sheet attached to print verso: "Landfill in Cherokee Co." Newspaper caption: "Developers in Cherokee County are installing clay liners and making other preparations at this 5-acre section of a 753-acre landfill site. Operators -- who are craving out three such sections initially -- are seeking to quadruple the original amount of trash they wanted to dump at the site, making it the second largest in the state. Residents fear because of its size and railroad accessibility it will accept out-of-state garbage, and developers have not ruled that out. " Caption dated: "THU APR 21 1994 JC."
