- Newspaper assignment sheet attached to print verso identifies photographer, David Tulis: "The Delta sign is nearly re-finished so let's get a closer look and provide some details if you can. [...] Caption: Sign painter Dianna Snell, of the Henry Sign Company, puts the finishing touches on the downtown Delta sign that greets over 317,800 motorists every day. The sign, which stands tall at the downtown connector, is 32- feet high by 100-feet long and utilizes 165 units of neon and 25 gallons of pain and it lit at night by floodlights. The sign has been under renovation for several weeks."
