- These photographs were taken during an unidentified event during the 1930s at Candler Field (now Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport), and includes female aviators from the international women's pilot organization the Ninety-Nines (99s). The event featured a visit from aviation pioneer and first president of the Ninety-Nines, Amelia Earhart. The three individuals are Edmund Brown (in the ROTC uniform), James Hodges, and Fred Turner (provided the model airplane). Printed on negative envelope: "Women pilots, old. 22557."
