- Printed on back: "Colony Square. Photog: Chuck Vollertsen." Caption: "First Building in Colony Square Taking Shape on Peachtree. When completed, this 25-story office structure will be the focal point of Colony Square, a projected $40 million office building-apartment-hotel development at the corner of Peachtree Street and 14th Street. The building is 100 Colony Square, the first structure to rise in the development. Colony Square is the creation of Atlanta developer James E. Cushman, president of the Cushman Corp. On a 12-acre site adjacent to Ansley Park, the project has been designed to include two office towers, two high-rise apartment buildings, a 500-room hotel, a two-story restaurant building and about 20 condominium townhouses, all clustered around a two-level concourse over underground parking. Architect is Jova-Daniels-Busby. The buildings are being constructed by Holder Construction Co., which will more its headquarters into 100 Colony Square when the structure is completed.
