Park (above), son of Five Star Super Market owner San-Soo Park, inspects damage to the store, which was looted May 1. The Parks, their lawyer and an appraiser returned to the store at 653 Fair St. S. W. Wednesday. Estimates on damage were unavailable. Sang-Soo Park (left) shows bricks and rocks that were thrown at him and his family while they were stranded on the roof of their store on May 1, when a crowd looted their grocery store. Mr. Park, his wife and two other Koreans were able to escape after police dispersed the unruly crowd with tear gas. 'My Father though he was going to die,' said Glenn. May 14, 1992 JC." This image is related to the Rodney King riots and demonstrations throughout Atlanta.
