- Photographic print; newspaper caption attached to verso of print: "Senior Girl Scouts Display Banners. Senior Girl Scouts attending a conference at the Sheraton-Biltmore display some of the banners they made for the event. Senior Scouts from Region III, representing 55 Girl Scout Councils, are meeting with 1,000 adults to receive help in peer group relations, human sexuality, national affairs and accepting differences. Each Council represented was asked to make a banner to show some of the things the girls are thinking about. Last spring 33 Senior Scouts planned the conference. The same girls are attanding the meeting and it is hoped together, girls and adults will communicate feelings and beliefs related to some of life's most important values. The conference ended at noon Wednesday with the teen-age girls letting adults know if the conference program met its goal, if adults really listened and if the message came across."
