- Newspaper assignment sheet attached to print verso identifies photographer (John Spink): "Charles Towns (left) visits friends Merle Wheeler (center) and John Blank (right) at their apartment 1559 Peachtree St. where they received a 60-day notice to move. Owners of the building plan to destroy it and tare it down. These men pay 985.00 a month plus utilities and enjoy a spacious hard-wood floor perhaps with twice or a third more the room they could pay somewhere else..."
