- Printed on negative envelope: "Story or idea: An urban garden is being planted at East Lake Meadows housing project. About 8 volunteers and staff from the Atlatna Urban Gardening project will build 12 4x16 raised beds for 12 families in the housing project. Materials were donated by Home Depot. Plese get a standalone, either one nice shot or something for small package. Get info!! Caption: Leila Arnold spreads soil inside one of the gardens at East Lake Meadows. She is one of the 12 residents that will own and care for a garden. The purpose of the garden is to help residents grow food to offset food cost. Over 12 people helped the residents put the garden together. The residents will plant tomatoes, peppers, onions, egg plants, and other summer vegetables."
