Caption: "A Fellow Countryman- Charles Emmett, age 65, pulled his wagon to the side of the road and stood in salute as the funeral cortege, bearing Eugene Talmadge's body to McRae, drove past. 'He was the best Governor Georgia we ever had,' Emmett said. 'I have supported and voted for him since he first ran for Commissioner of Agriculture."
