- Newspaper assignment sheet attached to print verso identifies photographer (Louie Favorite): "AHA disturbance ...Abel being subdued by police in front of AHA office on Fair St. after scuffle in Cushman Cart." Newspaper caption: "Police officers subdue Atlanta Housing Authority employee Melvin Abel after a scuffle outside the agency's office on Fair Street Monday. Abel, a security supervisor of an AHA program who was apparently angered over his dismissal, allegedly tried to prevent a plainclothes policeman from moving a vehicle outside his office. After the resulting scuffle with police, Abel was treated at Grady Hospital and released. He was charged with six offenses, including simple battery, [???] incident."
