- Printed on assignment sheet: "This group is called 'Act Up' (Aids Coalition To Unleash Power) and they are having a 'Kiss-In' along Marietta Street outside of but nearby the authorized free speech area near the Omni. They are a gay rights activist group that were trying to show that homosexuals are just like everybody else and have normal urges like everybody else. Police moved in shortly after this photo was taken to move this group over to the official/authorized free speech area. Monday 7/18/88 photo.
