This is personal photo. [in another hand] U.S. Forest [sic] Service Glenn" Davis was employed in various positions by the United States Forest Service, among the jobs he had were Director of Forest-Fire Prevention and Director of Division of Information and Education. His photographs appeared in manu publications during the 1930s and 1940s. "Mudcats" are usually defined as catfish.
