- Assignment sheet attached to print verso identifies the photographer (Joe McTyre). Newspaper caption attached to assignment sheet: "Restaurateur's son critical. The son of a co-founder of Paschal's Restaurant remained in critical condition today after he was shot Monday by a man angered at being asked to remove his hat in the restaurant lounge, at 830 Martin Luther King Drive S.W. Curtis O. Paschal, 30, son of James Paschal, was shot once in the chest. Josh T. Thornton, 50, of 675 Elizabeth St. has been charged with aggravated assault." Caption date-stamped: Wed May 13 1987 J.
