Its use in commercial advertisement must be approved by the Public Information Division, Office of the Chief of Information and Education, Department of the Army, the Pentagon, Washington 25, D.C., if published, please credit as 'U.S. Army Photograph.' Approved for release, Information Section, XII US Army Corps." Verso date-stamped: Oct 27 1968. The building was built in 1915 as the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant. In 1942, it was sold to the U.S. War Department for the Army Air Force's Air Service Command. The building is now a commercial and residential space known as Ford Factory Square.
