The Cover: Our cover today is a night view of the big Coosa River Newsprint Co., where newsprint is made from Southern pines, at Coosa Pines, Ala., not far from Talladega. A three-week supply of pine logs is shown in the foreground. Story and other color pictures on pages 14, 15 and 16. Magazine color photo by Kenneth Rogers." Caption: "As newsprint comes out of the paper-making machine it is wound into a roll that weighs about three tons. This will be cut into three parts. The new Coosa plant turns out a mile of newsprint every five minutes."
