Segment two: CHSA and Habitat for Humanity, 8:46-14:03. Civic Magazine covers a celebration for the partnership between the Community Housing Services Agency (CHSA) and Habitat for Humanity, a humanitarian organization. A CHSA representative speaks about the need to increase home ownership rates in Savannah and southeast Georgia to at least the national average. Other speakers include Alderman Clifton Jones, Jr. and Mayor Floyd Adams, Jr. Segment three: Mayor's Youth Rally, 14:03-20:06. Civic Magazine covers Savannah's first annual Mayor's Youth Rally, a gathering of hundreds of young people at the Savannah Civic Center to hear city officials address their interests. Speakers at the rally include Alderman David Jones and Janet Jones, who reads a letter from Mayor Floyd Adams, Jr. Alderman Jones is interviewed following the ceremony and he talks about how teenagers are often portrayed negatively, but in fact many of them are on the path to being contributing citizens and members of society. Also shown is a fire safety education lesson and demonstration. A firefighter with the Savannah Fire Department teaches a young girl about fire safety techniques like stop, drop, and roll and how to escape in case of a house fire.
