The Trustees Garden Club joined forces with Savannah's Park and Tree Department, Savannah's Building and Grounds Department, the Junior League of Savannah, the Savannah Rose Society, and the Delta Gamma Sorority to restore Savannah's Fragrant Garden to its former beauty. The garden was rededicated to the citizens of Savannah. Mayor Floyd Adams, Jr. speaks about the process of restoring the gardens and the benefits of the garden for the community. Audrey Platt, President of the Trustees Garden Club, talks about all of the partnerships that made the restoration possible. Park and Tree Department Director Barry Smith talks all of the work that went into the garden renewal. Alderman Pete Liakakis speaks about the former dilapidated state of the garden and the transformation that has made the garden a beautiful area once again. Garden visitor Paschal Bignault talks about what the garden means to him and his gratitude to those who made the restoration possible.
