Absolutely fire-proof, constructed throughout of reinforced concrete and steel, with handsome brick facing, it includes a slip 1020 feet long by 225 feet wide and dredged to a depth at mean low water of 26 feet with accommodations for four steamships. Cost: $1,500,000. This colorized postcard, postmarked August 12, 1917, depicts an aerial view of the terminal with the Savannah River in the background.
