- Nathaniel (sic) Greene Monument and City Hall, Savannah, Ga. Verso: Major General Nathaniel Greene, born in Rhode Island 1742, died in Georgia 1786, soldier and patriot, the friend of Washington. This shaft has been reared by the people of Savannah in Honor of his great service to the American Revolution. This colorized postcard depicts the Nathanael Greene Monument in Johnson Square.
