When Freedom, Georgia Southern University's eagle mascot, is out visiting fans or waiting to take flight at Paulsen Stadium, he’s usually wearing a black hood that covers his head and eyes. Steve Hein, founder and executive director of the Center for Wildlife Education at Georgia Southern, explains why the hood is so important to Freedom’s training, and surprises a few fans with a personal visit. Watch their reactions and learn more about our bald eagle mascot! GeorgiaSouthern.edu/wildlife - Metadata URL:
