Features of La Grange College
FACULTY. The faculty of La Grange College is composed of teachers who have had
training in the leading institutions of this country and Europe. They arc selected for their
personality, training, and experience, as well ;h for their scholarship.
( URRICULUM. Standard four-year courses leading to the A. 15. and B. S. degrees.
Fifteen units required for admission to any department.
SPE< I \l. DEPARTMENTS. L. C. takes great pride in her special departments. The
Department of Music offers Piano, Violin, Voice, Pipe Organ, Harmony, and the privilege
of orchestral work to those qualified. All special teachers hold diplomas from well-known
conservatories. Expression and Art are exceptionally fine.
EQUIPMENT. Much attention is paid to the welfare and comfort of students. Every
dormitory room has the modern conveniences of electric li^ld, steam heat, and running
w ater.
PHYSK A I. DEVELOPMENT. A large gymnasium, swimming pool, and athletic field
provide ample facilities for indoor exercise and outdoor sports.
Al.l'MN.K. The alumna of La Grange College now number over twelve hundred,
among whom are many who have become distinguished by their services to humanity.
Special attention is directed to the roll of L. ('. alumna-.
ATMOSPHERE AND INFLUENCES. The atmosphere of life here is distinctly reli-
gious. Xhe college is the property of the M. E. Church, South. I.. ('. has interesting
literary societies, inspiring mission study classes, a live Y. \Y. ('. A., enthusiastic athletic
organizations, and a delightful social life.
L0< VTION. I. a Grange is located among the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, at
an elevation of eiK'ht hundred thirty two feel above the sea level. No malaria. Campus
commands a magnificent view. Seventy miles from Atlanta, on A. & W. P. and A. B. & A.
railroads.
