- View of the second story of the Green-Meldrim House located on 14 West Macon Street in Savannah, Georgia.
The Green-Meldrim House, on Madison Square in Savannah, Georgia, is an excellent example of Gothic Revival architecture. It was completed in 1853 following a design by John S. Norris and housed William T. Sherman as he ended his March to the Sea in 1864. The house now serves as the parrish house for St. John's Episcopal Church. - Local Identifier:
