- View of David Sarnoff, president of the Radio Corporation of America during his visit to Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia to give a dedication address for the Oglethorpe Atlanta Crypt of Civiliation Time Capsule's door, which was broadcast live on WSB Radio.
David Sarnoff, an immigrant from Russia, began his career in electronic communications at at Marconi Wireless Telegraph Company. After Radio Corporation of America purchased Marconi, Sarnoff advanced in the company, eventually becoming President in 1930. - Local Identifier:
