Walker Smith Jr., also known as Sugar Ray Robinson, was an American boxer. His first professional match was in 1940. He became Welterweight Champion of the World in 1946, and the Middleweight Champion of the World in 1950. He retired from boxing in 1965, and in 1967 He was inducted to the International Boxing Hall of Fame. - Local Identifier:
