Mark Trail was a daily newspaper comic strip created by Ed Dodd which first appeared in April of 1946. With the success of the syndicated strip, Dodd hired cartoonists Jack Davis, Tom Hill, Rhett Carmichael, and Jack Elrod as assistants, creating the Mark Trail Group. - Local Identifier:
