- In this interview, William Lounsbery recalls his work in the United States Air Force, testing the effects of nuclear blasts on aircraft in flight. He describes how the tests were conducted and recalls a later assignment in the Air Force's Space Experiments Support Program. His last assignment before retiring was developing the Air Force Armament Museum at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, where he served as the museum's first director. He recalls his post-military work with the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). He reflects on his military service and describes his family and their lives and activities.
