- In this interview, Dorothy Claiborne describes her childhood and World War II years in Atlanta. She also recalls her husband's military career as a doctor with the Emory Unit as it traveled through North Africa, Italy, and Southern France. She also spent time at President Franklin D. Roosevelt's home in Warm Springs, Georgia. She recalls home life during the war with small children.
