- In this interview, Herman Bodenheimer describes his experiences in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Since he was a supply sergeant, he knew everyone and because he was considerably older than the rest of the squadron, he became something of a father figure in whom everyone confided. Because of this relationship, he is able to tell many harrowing and humorous stories of the day to day lives of an Army Air Force bomber squadron.
